In Loving Memory of Becky Berg, Our Co-Founder and loving JaJa (Grandmother) to our Tusonge children.

​It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that our beloved JjaJja (Grandmother) Becky Berg passed away Nov. 4th after a long battle with breast cancer. 

Words can’t fully express the impact that Becky made on the lives of our Tusonge children.  She and her Tusonge team have dedicated countless hours and resources to house, feed and educate over 65 young Ugandan boys and girls.  Nothing made Becky happier than to see the smiles, hear the songs and feel the hugs of the Tusonge children whenever she visited them in Uganda. Her legacy will live for many years as our Tusonge children gain an education and achieve successful careers and leadership roles in their country.  

In Becky's memory, Tusonge plans to create a Community Center and Center for Entrepreneurship where our kids will be able to start their own businesses and share their gifts with the children and families of their community in Kampala.  We invite you to make a donation in memory of Becky.
